Sarah Moslemi - S1 Founder/Instructor
Sarah began her career in 1999 as a massage therapist, simultaneously incorporating yoga into her life. She was hooked on the heat & movement. of the Bikram style. She continued to make bodywork & breath a major part of her life, & understand that Yoga wasn't just about physical flexibility, but it taught her rules/obedience to live by. In 2009, she became a certified vinyasa and Hot yoga instructor. Yoga taught her to use breath to move through difficult postures on and off the mat, to stay flexible, which she loves to share in her teachings as it parallels life so well. She will push you in class and let you laugh and have at the same time. She opened Studio One Yoga Yoga Stillwater in November 2011 with her husband. But didn’t stop an continues to open studios. Sarah's is passionate about bringing "Community's together as One."
They live Downtown Stillwater with their 5 children, shares passion for volunteering and chooses to travel far far far away when she can.
Dariush Moslemi - Instructor
Dariush Moslemi: Always a skeptic of yoga or anything like it, Dariush grew up in the pool as a competitive swimmer while also practicing martial arts. Having spent his college career in the military and training in Tae Kwon Do, Dariush felt he knew all there was to know about health and wellness....until yoga. Talked into a power vinyasa class by a girl (of course), he figured if he went and got it out of the way he could be left alone about trying it. Seven days and seven classes later, he knew he was hooked and was already sharing with everyone in his life the benefits he was experiencing and how much he loved the well rounded workout, through body, mind and spirit. Not to long after his first class, Dariush enrolled in teacher training and became a certified 200 hour yoga instructor, following that up with an extended training refining his knowledge. He has since been an instructor throughout the twin cities in both large format classes and small private lessons. Dariush strives to bring yoga to the “everyman, woman or child,” having been such a skeptic himself, relates to his students through humor and humility while showing everyone how they are flexible, strong, confident, and ready for yoga. He married the girl that told talked him into it and spends most time with their 5 babies and couples of yoga studios.

Rachel - Instructor
Rachel came to her mat in 2005 looking for a low stress whole body workout during pregnancy. Always being a fitness junkie the practice of yoga both physically and mentally introduced her to a more holistic approach on life. To deepen her practice she completed her 200 hour teacher training in 2015. It was then that she realized teaching yoga fulfilled a very special place in her heart and set on a path to share the practice with as many people as she can. She is known for her uplifting energy, fun-loving attitude, and warm contagious smile. Her deep and integrated knowledge of the human body and spirit allow her to connect with any student and cater to any body type. She truly makes yoga available to everyone. Rachel currently resides in Woodbury with her daughter and fiancee.
Steve - Instructor
When I began my yoga practice I was amazed by the physical changes I experienced. Like most new students the honeymoon period of rapid growth slowed down but rather than move on to another new experience I committed more of myself to yoga. In addition to physical practice I began to study the philosophy of Yoga and Buddhism only to discover I'd barely scratched the surface.
My classes tend to be a blend of asana (physical postures) and Dharma (philosophy) and I welcome everyone.
Amy B - Instructor
Amy discovered yoga during my own health and wellness journey. Originally she practiced yoga to maintain weight loss and create more flexibility within the body. She grew to learn more about yoga, beyond the postures. Completing her 200 hour teacher training she felt transformed. “Yoga has helped me gain self-confidence, self acceptance and control of my depression. My transformation was so moving I just want to help others adopt their yoga practice and gain a lifetime of happiness.”
Beyond yoga, Amy also work as a health and wellness coach to help people achieve their healthiest healthy. As well as spend time with her husband, darling daughter and mischievous cat.
Sebastian-instructor
Fitness has always been a part of my life; from speed skating as a kid to playing soccer in high school to cross country skiing later in college. I discovered yoga while in grad school and was hooked immediately. Of all the different types of exercise I enjoy, I absolutely love how yoga combines both a physical and mental challenge. I like loud music as well! I am so excited and honored to begin instructing at Studio One.
Leta-instructor
Leta began her career as a professional ballet dancer and dance instructor. She began taking yoga classes as a way to cross train and heal her body from the stress of her jobs. A few years later in 2016, Leta completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training so she could share her love of yoga with others.
Sara
Sara's yoga journey began as a college student in 2012 when she attended a Bikram studio down the street from where she lived. From the first class on, she knew that this would be a life long practice for her. She later then branched off, incorporating all styles of yoga into her practice. What she loves most about yoga is the self expression of spirit through movement. Her classes tie in elements of song and meditation. She strives to cultivate joy on her mat, and to help her students seek out the joy within their own practice. Sara completed her 200 hour teacher training in 2019, and feels that is a tremendous honor to be a vessel of these teachings.

Elizabeth - Instructor
After nearly a lifetime struggle with chronic anxiety, Liz sought to find change naturally, working to heal herself through developing a Yoga practice. Reluctantly, she tried a few classes at her local Yoga studios, but was amazed by the almost immediate transformation a quiet, welcoming space, breathing and gentle movements, afforded her weary mind and tired body. A practice she found not only to calm her anxious mind, but the perfect antidote to repair the damage done to her joints from years of running and intense strength training. A former personal trainer and group fitness instructor, Liz has always loved and felt passionate about health and wellness. After only a few short weeks into Yoga, she knew she had not only discovered the “Fountain of Youth” in this beautiful practice, but was quickly embraced by the gentle postures and connection to the breath, which significantly improve her emotional and physical health. Yoga changed her life. Literally. Her mind, her muscles, her skin, her outlook. . .and there has been no going back. After about eight years of developing her own practice, Liz wanted so much to guide others, using her personal experiences to serve and assist others in achieving the benefits of Yoga that have enriched her life more than she ever could’ve imagined. Elizabeth strives to help her students find a deeper connection to the power within, greater awareness of their bodies and minds, promoting self-healing through breath and movement. Most importantly, working with her students to create more joy-filled, peaceful, CONSCIOUS lives. Her daily practice has made her own life so much more whole and balanced and this is what Liz aims to provide to all her students. Liz is registered through Yogafit and works daily to grow her practice.
Heidi Dunnigan - In loving memory
Heidi was first introduced to yoga when she was having horrible back and joint pain due to years of gymnastics injuries. After “stalking” her yoga instructor after class every day with questions and theories, it was suggested she find her own yoga path. Certified in 2007 Heidi still feels she is learning something new every day and will never be complete in her yoga training. Being scared she would lose her passion for yoga if it was a “job”, Heidi now realizes that her passion has grown stronger and she learns a new lesson from her practice as well as from the people she trains with each day.
Heidi loves the many styles of yoga and being able to blend one style with the next. Knowing that every day and everyone is different, we are not here to judge, but to accept who we are for what we are.
Heidi contributes yoga to healing her migraines, getting her through breast cancer, learning to accept her fears, and showing her that energy is always flowing. Just choose which kind to hold onto.
