Sarah Moslemi - S1 Founder/Instructor
Sarah began her career 1999 as a massage therapist, simultaneously incorporating yoga into her life. She was hooked on the heat & movement. She continued to make bodywork & breath a major part of her life, understand that Yoga wasn't just about physical flexibility, but it taught her rules to live by. In 2009, she became a certified vinyasa and hot yoga instructor. Yoga taught her to use breath to move through difficult postures on and off the mat, to stay flexible, which she loves to share in her teachings as it parallels life so well. She opened S1 Yoga Stillwater in November 2011 with her husband. Sarah's is passionate about bringing "Community's together as One." They live Downtown Stillwater with their 5 children.
Dariush Moslemi - Instructor
Dariush Moslemi: Always a skeptic of yoga or anything like it, Dariush grew up in the pool as a competitive swimmer while also practicing martial arts. Having spent his college career in the military and training in Tae Kwon Do, Dariush felt he knew all there was to know about health and wellness....until yoga. Talked into a power vinyasa class by a girl (of course), he figured if he went and got it out of the way he could be left alone about trying it. Seven days and seven classes later, he knew he was hooked and was already sharing with everyone in his life the benefits he was experiencing and how much he loved the well rounded workout, through body, mind and spirit. Not to long after his first class, Dariush enrolled in teacher training and became a certified 200 hour yoga instructor, following that up with an extended training refining his knowledge. He has since been an instructor throughout the twin cities in both large format classes and small private lessons. Dariush strives to bring yoga to the “everyman, woman or child,” having been such a skeptic himself, relates to his students through humor and humility while showing everyone how they are flexible, strong, confident, and ready for yoga.
Rachel - Instructor
Rachel came to her mat in 2005 looking for a low stress whole body workout during pregnancy. Always being a fitness junkie the practice of yoga both physically and mentally introduced her to a more holistic approach on life. To deepen her practice she completed her 200 hour teacher training in 2015. It was then that she realized teaching yoga fulfilled a very special place in her heart and set on a path to share the practice with as many people as she can. She is known for her uplifting energy, fun-loving attitude, and warm contagious smile. Her deep and integrated knowledge of the human body and spirit allow her to connect with any student and cater to any body type. She truly makes yoga available to everyone. Rachel currently resides in Woodbury with her daughter and fiancee.
Maren - Instructor
n 2013, just before her 40th birthday, Maren decided to try a Bikram yoga class. She instantly fell in love with the discipline and focus required for the Bikram sequence and loved the added challenge of the heat and humidity. After about two years of regularly practicing hot yoga, she decided to take a break from that format and began taking Vinyasa and Barre classes. In 2017 she started practicing yoga with more regularity, and became passionate about flow classes and renewed her love of hot yoga by taking Hot 60 classes in addition to Vinyasa, Sculpt and Sculpt Power Flow classes. In the fall of 2018, when her youngest child went off to college, she decided to sign up for teacher training through Studio One, with the intent of deepening her yoga practice, both on and off the mat. As a teacher, Maren challenges her students to find depth in their practice, tapping into their inner mental and physical strength. A favorite motto of hers is that can do anything you set your mind to as long as you believe in yourself.
Megan - Instructor
Megan practiced yoga once a week or so for many years as a way to complement her fitness routine. In 2009 she found herself needing more. Spending time on my yoga practice was the only surefire way to get out of her head and really be present. She learned the yoga principle of Sakshi - to witness and create awareness without judgement or attachment. Her first teacher training was with Bikram in Los Angeles 2013. She is passionate about alignment and continues to study proper body mechanics through pilates training, working with the Postural Restoration Institute, and recently Functional Range Conditioning on top of my yoga studies. I know how powerful a regular yoga practice can be- but I also hope to make my classes playful. Yoga should be a place for joy!
Deveny - Instructor
Deveny has spent most of her life immersed in a movement practice. She began doing ballet at an early age and continued dancing through college where learning to move from a place of intuition and exploration was transformative for her. During this time she dabbled in yoga but didn't begin deepening that practice until after graduation. Yoga became a lifeline after college to ease her struggles with anxiety and depression and she began seeking out knowledge about the spiritual and cultural history of yoga. She completed her 200 hr yoga teacher training in 2020. Deveny believes that holistic movement is a fundamental human need and is passionate about connecting people to their bodies through yoga. She teaches from a trauma informed lens, with the goal of grounding and inspiring tenderness towards bodies.
Tina- Instructor
Tina has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 24 years.
Her favorite styles of yoga to practice and teach are vinyasa flow, alignment flow, and yin
She attended her first yoga class in 1997 and fell in love with it. It was so different than anything else she had been doing as part of her fitness plan. She began teaching shortly after that. Her practice and teaching evolved and continues to evolve as she continues to learn and practice a variety of yoga styles. When she is not at the studio she enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children and 2 dogs.

Jordan loves to teach Vinyasa Flow to connect the mind, body, and spirit, she also enjoys teaching candlelight yoga to balance Yin and Yang energies. Jordan incorporates breathing exercises into her classes to calm the nervous system. She is a firm believer in your body-your practice; practicing a pose in a way that is best for your body. She believes it is important to modify or adjust to make sure you’re safe in your practice and kind to your body. When she is not teaching yoga she loves to travel, hangout with her cats, watch movies, and listen to music!
Lindsey
I’m Lindsey! I found yoga in 2017 as a collegiate swimmer. It offered itself as a recovery tool in between practices and weight training, but also as an inner sanctuary of peace and exploration. I was curious about where yoga could take me, so I continued my journey after college in Duluth, MN. Here, I went on to obtain a 200 hour teaching certificate at Full Circle Yoga. I enjoy learning about ancient yogic roots and finding creative, intuitive ways to move the body. When I practice, I'm continually amazed at the insights yoga suggests of daily life. I believe that yoga is more than physical workout, but a way of healing.
